Our Life Story Workshop™ division announces the availability of on-site, professionally-hosted workshops for life review and life story writing. These guided autobiography groups provide superior learning and developmental outcomes. Our comprehensive program allows you to expand your activities offerings with no added staff commitment (even lessons the burden on over-committed staff). Our workshop will also propel your facility to the forefront of activities and wellness programming.
The pre-eminent gerontologist, James Birren, PhD, indicated that "All maturing people pass their life in review—some do it successfully and others do not. Those who feel dissatisfied in their life review and who are unable to complete it successfully are those who become increasingly depressed and despairing as they age."
